Last Saturday, 8th of October, at Keith Town Hall, the 2022 Annual General Meeting was Chaired by the President, John Kentish.
John Kentish, has stepped down as The State President. John had been President for the past 16 months. Previous to that he served as the State President for 3 Terms back in the early 1980s. John has worked tirelessly to keep the State in good shape. I know he used be up some nights past midnight working for the state. On behalf of all the members of SAFGA, I thank you for your hard and tireless work to keep the State alive.
Vicki Fabris, has stepped down as the State Secretary. Vicki has been the State Secretary for the past 12 months. Already busy in her private and professional life, she took the job on and did a fantastic job. Vicki also reraised the SAFGA newsletter. On behalf of the SAFGA Members, I would like to sincerely thank you for your valuable time and hard work.
Jo Nannings, has stepped down as the State Treasurer. Jo has been the State Treasurer for the past 3 years. Jo has done a lot of work on the books to bring into order. His Treasurer’s reports have been second to none. They were easy to read and understand and at the same time, were very professional. On behalf of SAFGA Members, I would like to thank you for all your hours of dedicated work and leaving the financials in great shape.

The results of the Board Election is as Follows:
- President: Rob Low.
- Vice President: Mark Fabris.
- Secretary: Vacant position
- Treasurer: John Kentish (Temporary)
- Target Shooting and Safety Director: Chris Ball.
- Board Member: Charles Wallis
- Board Member: Phillip Papaioannou
If any member could help out and volunteer their services as the State Secretary or State Treasurer would be greatly appreciated. John Kentish has put his hand up to help out with the State Treasurer until such time as the position is filled. Both positions are pretty important positions.
